“The Law of the Garbage truck.”
*Joel Osteen* said!!!
One day I hopped in a taxi and we took off for the airport. We were driving on the inner lane when suddenly a black car jumped out of a parking space right in front of us. My taxi driver slammed on his brakes, skidded, and missed the other car by just inches! The driver of the other car whipped his head around and started yelling at us. My taxi driver just smiled and waved at the guy. I mean, he was really friendly.
So I asked, “Why did you just do that? This guy almost ruined your car and sent us to the hospital!” This is when my taxi driver taught me what I now call, “The Law of the Garbage truck.”
He explained that many people are like garbage trucks. They run around full of garbage, full of frustration, full of anger, and full of disappointment. As their garbage piles up, they need a place to dump it and sometimes they’ll dump it on you.
Don’t take it personally. Just smile, wave, and wish them well, say a prayer for them and move on. Don’t take their garbage and spread it to other people at work, at home, or on the streets. The bottom line is that successful people do not let garbage trucks take over their day.
Life’s too short to wake up in the morning with regrets, so…love the people who treat you right. Forgive the ones who don’t. We’re not always responsible for everything that happens to us, but we are responsible for how we react to what happens. Life is ten percent what you make it and ninety percent how you take it!

MEET AN AGROPRENEUR
She used the money to buy seeds, but soon realised that she needed more to invest in a proper drip irrigation system.
However, installing a proper drip system is costly, particularly for small-scale-farmers.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP TRAINING (SERIES 4)
GROWING YOUR BUSINESS.
If your business isn’t growing then it is failing. If you aren’t moving forward then you are moving backwards. Once you have the right people in place and have developed a good customer base your company should focus on continual growth. There are lots of ways to promote growth in your company and the specifics will be based on your particular business. For example, growth for a retail business may mean opening up a new store front or developing a new product line. Growth for an IT company could be purchasing or developing a new system. Whatever your company does you need to figure out ways to expand it. This goes beyond just figuring out ways to earn more money.
Creating Strong Business Relationships
Creating business relationships that are strong is the foundation of growing your business. Customers, clients, suppliers and business associates are the life blood of your business’s growth. You simply cannot forge ahead down the path to success without these helpers, which means you need to develop long-lasting and meaningful relationships with them. These relationships are established on trust and honesty.
Communicate often.
Communication between your business contacts is extremely important. This is especially true of your customers and your suppliers. These contacts rely on you to tell them what is going on, which includes letting them in on any problems you are experiencing. Communication should be a top priority for your business relationships.
Meet deadlines.
When a customer deals with your business they expect you to hold up your end of the bargain and deliver on your promises. This certainly means meeting your deadlines. When you promise something to a customer or supplier, you want them to consider your word as your bond. Not having to worry if your business will fulfill its requirements builds trust with customers.
Try to prevent surprises.
Customers and clients generally don’t like surprises; especially if the service your company provides has a direct link to their livelihood. While it may not be possible for you to prevent unwanted things from happening, being honest with your customers and maintaining communication with them regarding what is going on can help you to eliminate unwanted surprises.
Being Honest
The value of being an honest business cannot be overstated. Your company will grow faster and reach further if it is based on honest principles and ethics. It is important to strive for honesty at all times and at all levels of your business.
Honesty will keep your customers coming back.
No business relationship can last if it isn’t based on honesty. Being honest with your clients and customers will help them want to continue to give you their business. Honesty builds trust and this can create a business reputation that will help you grow and get you more clients.
You should be honest with everyone that has to do with your business, not just your customers and clients. You need to be honest with your employees, your suppliers, your investors and everyone else. This means not making up lies to cover your own basis, owning up to your own mistakes and acknowledging the business’s state to your employees and investors. Again, this kind of honesty creates loyalty.
Be honest with yourself.
Don’t forget to be honest with yourself too. This can be the most brutal form of honesty and one of the hardest things you can do. Being honest with yourself regarding what you really want from your business and what goals you are really looking to achieve is extremely important. Lying to yourself, even in tiny ways, can end up causing you to compromise your business, its ethics and its principles, which can spell disaster.
Be honest about growth.
Don’t try to grow your business too quickly either. There is always the idea that a business a business should grow as quickly as it can, but this concept can often lead to trouble. Sustained business growth comes from a clear and detailed strategy. It also comes from having the appropriate systems and processes ready to go in order to cope with this new growth. Don’t focus on everything at one time. Pay attention to the required resources needed to sustain this growth, as many smaller businesses simply don’t have access to the right resources and can get in over their heads.

TIPS ON HOW TO REMAIN POOR
*1. Never wake up early._* Keep stretching and turning in bed until you get too hungry to continue dozing. If there are no bed bugs, why hurry to get up?
*2. Never plan how to spend your money._* Whenever you get money, start spending it right away and when it's finished, you try to count and recall how you spent it.
*3. Don't think of saving until you have real big money._* How can you save when you earn so little? Those telling you to save are not sympathetic to your burning needs.
*4. Don't engage in activities usually reserved for the "uneducated"._* How can you, a graduate, engage in petty trade, network marketing or home-based production? That's for people who never went to school!
*5. Don't think of starting a business until an angel comes from heaven and gives you capital._* How do they expect you to invest before you get millions? Even though more than half the businesses in your town were started with little capital, you as a smart person can only start with millions.
*6. Complain about everything except your own attitude and laziness._* Blame the system, the government and the banks that refused to lend you money. They are all bad and do not want you to get rich.
*7. Spend more than you earn._* To achieve this, buy consumer products on credit and keep borrowing from friends and employers.
*8. Compete in dressing._* Make sure you're wearing the latest clothes. Intimidate the congregation with your trendy fashions every Sunday. Whenever your neighbour buys a new phone, you get one that is more expensive.
*9. Get yourself a nice second hand car_* that costs more than three times your yearly salary.
*10. Give your children everything they ask for since you're such a loving parent. They should not struggle for anything because you do not want them to suffer that way, they will grow up lazy and hence poor enough to ensure they can't help you at old age.
IF YOU WANT TO BE RICH, JUST DO THE OPPOSITE OF THIS!!!!!

WHY ALWAYS LION?
Something that might get you motivated has got me thinking for some time now,follow me to read this;
In the jungle which animal is the biggest, I heard you say ,elephant?
In the jungle which animal is the tallest, I heard you say, Giraffe?
In the jungle which animal is the wisest, I heard you say, Tortoise?
In the jungle which animal is the fastest, I heard you say, Cheetahs?
Uhmm, among all these wonderful qualities mentioned, where is the Lion in the picture.
But yet you say the Lion is the king of the jungle even without any of these qualities.
But I discovered something fascinating about the Lion.
The Lion is Courageous
The Lion is very bold
The Lion is always ready to face any mountain, any challenges, any barrier that crosses his part, no matter how big they are.
The Lion walks with confidence.
The Lion dares anything and never get afraid.
The Lion believes he is unstoppable.
The Lion is a risk taker.
The Lion believes any animal is food for him.
The Lion believes any opportunity is worth giving a trial and never allows it slip from his hands.
The Lion has charisma.
What is it that I want you to learn from the piece?
You don't need to be the fastest, you don't need to be the wisest , you don't need to be the smartest, you don't need to be the most brilliant, you don't need to be generally accepted to become your dreams and be great in life.
All you need is courage, all you need is boldness , all you need is the will to try , all you need is the faith to believe it is possible, all you need is to believe in yourself that you can. Because you are the only one that should be up there, no one else.

SEVEN LEADERSHIP PRINCIPLES TO LEARN FROM AN EAGLE
1. Eagles fly alone and at high altitudes
They don't fly with sparrows or other
small birds. Stay away from (narrow minded people) sparrows and ravens, those that bring you down. Eagles fly with Eagles, keep good company.
2. Eagles have an accurate vision.
They have the ability to focus on something as far as 5km. No matter the obstacles, the eagle will not move his focus from the prey until he grabs it. Have a vision and remain focused no matter what the obstacle and you will succeed.
3. Eagles do not eat dead things.
They feed only on fresh prey. Do not rely on your past success, keep looking for new frontiers to conquer. Leave your past where it belongs, in the past.
4. Eagles love the storm.
When clouds gather, the eagles get excited. The eagle uses the storm’s wind to lift it higher. Once it finds the wind of the storm, the eagles uses the raging storm to lift him above the clouds. This gives the eagle an opportunity to glide and rest its wings. In the meantime, all the other birds hide in the leaves and branches of the trees. Face your challenges knowing that these will make you emerge stronger and better than you were. We can use the storms of life to rise to greater heights. Achievers are not afraid of challenges rather they
relish them and use them profitably.
5. When a female eagle meets a male and they want to mate, she flies down to earth with the male pursuing her and she picks a twig. She flies back into the air with the male pursuing her. Once she has reached a height high enough for her, she lets the twig fall to the ground and watches it as it
falls. The male chases after the twig. The faster it falls, the faster he chases until he reaches it and has to catch it before it falls to the ground, then bring it back to the female eagle. The female eagle grabs the twig and flies to a much higher altitude, and then drops the twig for the male to chase. This goes on for hours, with the height increasing until the female eagle is assured that the male eagle has mastered the art of picking the twig which shows commitment, then and only then, will she allow him to mate with her
Whether in private life or in business, one should test commitment of people intended for partnership.
6. Eagles prepare for training.
They remove the feathers and soft grass in the nest so that the young get uncomfortable in preparation for flying. Leave your comfort zone, there is no growth there.
7. When the Eagle grows old, his feathers become weak and cannot take him as fast and as high as he should. This makes him weak and could make him die. So he retires to a place far away in the mountains. While there, he plucks out the weak feathers on his body, and breaks its beak against the rocks and claws until he is completely bare; a very bloody and painful process. Then he stays in this hiding place until he has grown new feathers; a new beak and claws; and then he comes out. We occasionally need to shed off old habits no matter how difficult, things that burden us, or add no value to our lives. And when ideas or methods stop working, we must develop fresh ones that work.
Yes eagles never give up ...
BE AN EAGLE....NEVER GIVE UP!!!

PAY THE PRICE
There is always a cost for everything anyone does in life.
Life is about give and take and if you have nothing to give, then expect nothing in return.
The cost price for becoming a king is taking a risk.
Take the risk to become the king!
That’s what David did.
Crowns are always transferred to risk-takers.
The crown shifted from the head of the indolent, coward, non-challant King Saul to the head of a risk-taking young lad David.
Kingship is seeking for just anyone who is prepared to take the risk.
Will you take your life in your hand; sentence yourself to death?
Dare the opposition to damn the opposition.
Be prepared to die if you must preserve your life.
Life is never preserved by trying to save, hide or keep it, it is by investing in it.
Be prepared to lose it and you shall save it.
Will you risk your life for the throne!
There is no risk-free zone in life.
There is no path void of challenges.
Take that risk now and you will certainly become the next king!
RISK-TAKERS ARE GOAL GETTERS
THE MORE THE RISK THE RANKED YOU WILL BE!!!!
Note: Take a reasonable and calculated risk.

MISSION WITHOUT VISION
PURPOSE/VISION
An visitor approaches and enquires one of them “What are you doing?”
The worker responds “I am carrying a load of bricks from here to there”
The visitor asked the man again “What are you doing?” The worker shouts back angrily
“Can’t you see, I am carrying bricks from here to there! Don’t you have eyes?”
The visitor left the worker alone and asked several other workers and to his surprise all of them
answered in the same angry and stressed tone.
The visitor was upset. After much time, he finally reached one person who looked happy and asked
him “What are you doing?”
The person replied “We are carrying bricks to build the corner walls.
We are building a beautiful church”
The visitor became happy & moved on.

This story is a good example for visions and their power.
The workers, who shouted with anger, appeared stressful because they did not know as to why they
are carrying such a load of bricks; THEY DO NOT KNOW THE END GOAL OR RESULT..
But the worker who was happy knew the end goal and the result of his work. He knew how every brick helped the construction of the church; hence he felt that his work is meaningful.
If an entrepreneur doesn’t have a clear vision, then he will move in different directions wasting a lot time, effort, energy & money. The end result is Frustration.
What is a vision? Vision is a clear picture of the future you want to be in. The picture should be detailed and precise.
Have you observed, if you just imagine a car with some emotion, you will start seeing similar cars in TV, newspapers and roads? This is exactly the power of vision. Once you have clear vision, life will start working towards your advantage.
Mahatma Gandhi had a vision of seeing India free and this vision inspired millions of people and finally everything worked towards the success of its vision.
What is stopping you from having a vision?

→ Is it that, you are not exactly sure what you want?
→ Are you afraid that your vision will not come true?
→ Are you afraid that your vision may not be liked by other people?
What is your real issue?
If you don’t have vision, you will be out of business very soon and it is like a ship moving in
unknown direction
PLAN AND HAVE A CLEAR VISION!!!!!!

THE STORY OF A LEGEND
Michael Jordan was born in 1963, in the slums of Brooklyn, New York.
He had four siblings and his father's earnings were not sufficient to provide for the whole family.
He grew up in a poor neighbourhood. Exposed to mindless violence and heavy discrimination in the slums, he saw for himself only a hopeless future.
His father saw in Michael, a lost soul and decided to do something.
He gave Michael, who was 13 years old, a piece of used clothing and asked: "What do you think the value of this outfit would be?"
Jordan replied,"Maybe one dollar."
His father asked, "Can you sell it for two dollars? If you can sell it, it would mean that you are a big help to your family."
Jordan nodded his head, "I'll try, but no guarantee that I'll be successful."
Jordan carefully washed the cloth clean. Because they didn't have an iron, to smoothen the cloth, he levelled it with a clothes brush on a flat board, then kept it in the sun to dry. The next day, he brought the clothes to a crowded underground station. After offering it for more than six hours. Jordan finally managed to sell it for $2. He took the two dollar bill and ran home.
After that, everyday he looked for used clothing, washed and ironed it, and sold it in the crowd.
More than ten days later, his father again gave him a piece of used clothing, "Can you think of a way you can sell this for 20 bucks?"
Aghast, Jordan said, "How is it possible? This outfit can only fetch two dollars at the most."
His father replied, "Why don't you try it first? There might be a way."
After breaking his head for a few hours, finally, Jordan got an idea.
He asked for cousin's helpto paint a picture of Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse on the garment. Then he tried to sell it in the school where the children of the rich study.
Soon a housekeeper, who was there to pick his master, bought that outfit for his master. The master was a little boy of only 10 years. He loved it so much and he gave a five dollar tip. 25 dollars was a huge amount for Jordan, the equivalent of a month's salary of his father.
When he got home, his father gave him yet another piece of used clothing, "Are you able to resell it at a price of 200 dollars?" Jordan's eyes lit up.
This time, Jordan accepted the clothes without the slightest doubt. Two months later a popular movie actress from the movie "Charlie's Angels", Farah Fawcett came to New York for her Movie promos. After the press conference, Jordan made his way through the security forces to reach the side of Farah Fawcett and requested her autograph on the piece of clothing. When Fawcett saw this innocent child asking for her autograph, she gladly signed it.
Jordan was shouting very excitedly, "This is a jersey signed by Miss Farah Fawcett, the selling price is 200 dollars!" He auctioned off the clothes, to a businessman for a price of 1,200 dollars!
Upon returning home, his father broke into TEARS and said, "I am amazed that you did it My child! You're really great! "
That night, Jordan slept alongside his father. His father said, "Son, in your experience selling these three pieces of clothing, what did you learn about success?"
Jordan replied, "Where there's a will, there's a way."
His father nodded his head, then shook his head, "What you say is not entirely wrong! But that was not my intention. I just wanted to show you that a piece of used clothing which is worth only a dollar can also be increased in value, Then how about us - living & thinking humans? We may be darker and poorer, but what if we CAN increase our VALUE."
This thought enlightened young Jordan. Even a piece of used clothing could be made dignified, then why not me? There is absolutely no reason to underestimate myself.
From then on, Michael Jordan felt that his future would be beautiful and full of hope.
He went on to become the greatest basketball player of all times.
How can I increase my own value?
IT IS NEVER TOO LATE, WHY NOT START NOW!!!!!!

ARE YOU REDEFINED???
Sometimes what you read helps a lot and redefine your mentality. This a MUST read for self development!
1. Make friends with successful people and occasionally buy them gift and surprise them with lunch because successful people always give and hardly get, so when you give them, they value the gift a lot.
2. Get a mentor and follow his instructions and respect the relationship. Never beg your mentor for money or disrespect his or her privacy.
3. Make new positive friends as often as possible and ensure you keep the communication line open. Create a network of friends and not just connections.
5. Show kindness to everyone. Some small boys today will be big boys tomorrow. The biggest dog in the neighborhood was once a puppy. And keep the information/secret to yourself.
6. Always plan ahead and be proactive. He that plans the future work less in the future.
7. Listen to speeches and messages from great teachers. Both religious and educational.
8. Attend seminars and training on any area you need to improve yourself. Train the trainer, personal development, public speaking, sales etc.
9. Have the habit of keeping a pen and a writing pad handy because ideas come in the form of flashes. The smallest pen is bigger and better than the biggest brain.
10. Make sure at every point in time you are reading a book. If you spend 20 minutes reading daily, for 52 weeks you would have consumed 1,000,000 words.
11.Stay away from television as much as possible. You can watch educational channels. Men with big TV sits in front of them to watch men with big library.
12 Put control over your mouth, never say evil of any man, what you are not certain of should not be said. Say good of all men.
13. Always show appreciation for any good deed you received.
14. Always help someone in need.
15. Live a debt free life. What you can’t pay cash for is not your size.
16. Give out loans that you can part with as gift, so that you don’t destroy your business and relationship.
17. Create legitimate multiple source of income.
18. Save at least 10 percent of your income.
19. Invest a portion of your income. And be patient to see it grow. If what you have in your hands is not good to be called a harvest then it’s a seed, sow it.
20. Keep a good financial record of all income and expenses, so you won’t ask later “where did my money go”
21. Be in involve in community service. Control traffic, free lesson class for students etc.
22. Keep getting better on your daily goals and dream, develop yourself on them and make sure you get to the top 10 % of your industry.
23. Make sure you engage in exercise. It keeps your brain alert and your body fit to enjoy your success.
24. Pray often, and know that for every success, there is a stronger being that made it possible.
Wishing you all a very blessed Day. I tell you, this will keep you going in life if you practice what you just received!
